Block by Block

Published by Julia Stainton at 7:10 pm under Card Designs

I have a quick card to share with you today. Life has been rather busy lately and I’m trying to get caught up. I actually did a mini-marathon Christmas shop yesterday and feel much better as I have more than half my presents bought. I like to get that done before December.

I’ve also been busy with a few other projects. I did get that dresser finished and I love it. If you’re interested you can check it out here.

My sewing machine also got used for something other than paper crafting! So fun to see some new pillows adorning my home. One is created from a sweater and the other you can see here, is an every thing creative project.

On the clean up front…I’m super excited to be getting some goodies ready for a local Scrapbook Garage Sale. Hubby’s busy working on my new room and I cannot wait!

Take care and thanks for stopping by!

Great card idea with the thank-you letters. Good way to use leftover scraps (I have far too many). TFS

I keep a lot of scraps for just this purpose! I love how weeks later I can make something completely different with the same colours with the best part being it’s all already the right size. Cool!
I am loving your dresser!! I even loved it before you made it more beautiful! I can see you worked really hard on it, and my! but it really sparkles now :)
Maybe it’s time for me to re do my little oak octagon telephone table. Long ago in someone else’s home, it clearly housed a well watered plant- lol. I have the mark to cover up to this day. It was a steal then and I love it still, marks and all.

Love the card. It’s so simple yet so clever. Also love the pillow.
