Procrastination Delight

Do you ever find things you’ve been meaning to finish for ages?! And I mean MONTHS! Well, I finally finished up this card this week. It’s been in a pile by my desk for at least four months. I bought the coolest Prima watercolor patterned paper and painted it with my waterbrush and dye inks. I LOVE the custom look! I have to tell you, the style of the images and the absorbency of the paper made it super quick and easy to do. The colors pop much more IRL. I could take another picture but…I was scared I might just procrastinate again and you’d maybe see it in July! Life is like that these days. I’m deadline orientated and if I don’t have one, the project gets the back burner while I prioritize the due dates first.

Sooo…I’m sorry but I no longer have ANY idea what colors I used on this project! I do know they are Adirondack dye inks by Ranger. Prima Marketing paper, Prism Kraft cardstock and my hand-dandy sewing machine. Of course that Prima flower is a no-brainer and as I just put the Making Memories clip on it the other day, well… I definitely remember that. 😉 I just couldn’t put anything else onto this design. Do you ever have paper you love so much that you just can’t cover it up?!

Quick Tip: LOL Don’t be like me and take months to finish something you love!

Now if you’re here looking for Thursday’s Ways to Use it Challenge…make sure you check it out on Splitcoaststampers.com.  I’m taking a month break from it because I’m a little over-committed for the next few weeks. I’ll still be here blogging away. I just needed a few less deadlines to worry about. Kim Hughes is such a sweetie besides being brilliant! She’s hostessing the challenge this week so be sure to check it out. Thanks Kim! It’s also Kim’s release day of two fabulous new stamp sets. Drool. You can check them out here.

What’s up tomorrow? A little embossing for you.

Have a delightful day!
