Flocked Valentines…

Published by Julia Stainton at 7:28 am under Card Designs, Lizzie Anne Designs

This is a fun little card in some not so traditional valentine’s colors. A dark red paired up with a rust color and some dots including blue give this design a cleaner, more masculine look. This Heart to Heart stamp set from Lizzie Anne Designs was so much fun to use. In the middle of the heart, I used my Sakura Glue pen to color it in and then press in some flocking for a warm fuzzy look.

I don’t have too much more to say about this design. Pretty simple straight-forward layout and stamping. If you missed my flocking post a couple days ago …just click here. The flocking used here is Camel by Cornish Heritage Farms.

It’s going to be a soggy day here. There’s a two hour fog delay for the school buses and I’m praying they won’t cancel school. Yes…it is pretty foggy! I can’t see the lights of the houses North of me as I write this, this early morning. Sigh…and I was hoping to take a little trip to my local stamp store. I haven’t been there in months! :( Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Perfect maculine card. I just discovered flock..and it so fun but kinda hard to work with. Do you have any special glue or something you lay the flock on? Or do you adhere it with something. I used 2 way glue and my finger…probably not the best way..LOl
    thanks! Chris

What a cute card! I really like the layout (the red circle to the left of the focal point is a really neat way to balance this card.) Keeping my fingers crossed for you for the fog to lift so you can go to your lss!

This is a perfect masculine Valentine! Fun colors! It’s soggy here today, too — we woke up to thunderstorms and LOTS of rain! Good day to stay inside and stamp! ;)
