It’s Saturday…another busy Saturday as Christmas draws nearer! Only ten more shopping days to go!
I’m busy trying to finally get up our Christmas tree today so this entry will be super short. I just know you have things to do as well!
Christmas Peace

This is a super clean and simple design using this darling little Christmas tree set, Playful Christmas from Kitchen Sink Stamps. I just love the two step stamping and had to try it out with a little flocking. The trees were first stamped with the solid image in Soft Sky and Olive Olive. Using my Essential Glue Pad, I inked up the funky circles tree and stamped it right on top. Using blue flocking, I sprinkled both trees and then tapped off the excess. I love how the flocking changes the colors underneath a little and the flocking looks so funky with those retro trees. I just love this Figgy Pudding 6×6 pad of paper from Basic Grey. What great fun color combos and patterns, sized perfectly for designing cards. A mat of metallic red cardstock and Soft Sky borders my image and for a sparkly touch…some big fat clean rhinestones from Doodlebug Designs adds a festive touch to the top of the trees!
Hope your Saturday is simply wonderful!

I thought I’d take a little break from Christmas designs and share a floral design I created not too long ago. I love the warmth of the coral flowers paired up with the vanilla and black color scheme. Just what my blog needed…a shot of color. It’s simple to create gorgeous flowers with this Three Step Daisy set by Kitchen Sink Stamps. Love all the various color combos and looks you can come up with. This card is really flexible…just by changing up the sentiment, you can use it for many occasions.
Grow with Love

If this design looks familiar, you may have seen it before. I originally created it for an article/review I wrote for Craft Critique on Kitchen Sink Stamps….I gave them a huge thumbs up. I was really impressed as they have some of the easiest to use polymer stamps I’ve tried.
It’s been a very busy day here. Lots of work to do that I can’t share right now. You’ll have to forgive me…I’m so exhausted tonight…I can’t even remember the patterned paper line! If someone can help a tired girl out…:) Take care my friends!

OK…I’ll admit it…I just can’t get it done. I’ve been sick the most of the past two weeks and have been trying to keep up but have been getting further and further behind. You know how it is with being a mom. I had hoped to post a {C’est Bon} entry today but as one of my little guys is now sick too…it is just going to have to wait another day. I DID have this entry all written up though for tomorrow’s post and so…I’m just going to swap them! I WILL get the other post done by then!
Thanks for your patience and thanks so much for your support and stopping by my blog.
Yummmm…pink paisley and pink flocking. I just couldn’t resist pairing up these two supplies with this beautiful flourished stamp from Kitchen Sink Stamps. The stamp is so fun and the name of the set, Thanks With Style, says it all. This set has some fun hip attitude.
Thanks for All You Do
I just love this pink paisley patterned paper by My Mind’s Eye. Well actually, I adore any paper by My Mind’s Eye but this one is one of my faves. Love the fun pink, brown and what IS that cool color of electric yellow called?! Somewhere between lemon and lime…it is so much fun. I didn’t try matching it up as I just knew it wouldn’t be easy to find matching cardstock. It IS on the reverse side of this beautiful paper…just wish I’d had more of it to use!
I kept the design super simple with all that was going on in the flourishes, flocking and busy paper. Matting is with Chocolate Chip cardstock amd stitching it to my 5.25″ square whisper white card front was all that was needed. For the main sentiment, I stamped my image with the Essential Glue pad and then covered it with my fun bright pink Stampendous Flocking. The look of flocking is so hot right and and is so fun to do. I also used the little for all you do stamp from the set by stamping it in Pink Passion ink and adding a little Making Memories gemstone for a fun bit of bling. My last addition was a gorgeous bright pink felt Prima flower pierced with a Fancy Pants Harvest Pin purchased from my local scrapbooking store.
Wishing you a fabulous Sunday and great week to come!

I thought I’d try a little vintage look with my Kitchen Sink Stamps. The design is part of a review I wrote for Craft Critique last week. I’ve been pretty sick the past week, yesterday especially and so I haven’t had the energy to make something entirely new. Hopefully things will be looking up soon. I also have a few things to note at the end of the post so make sure you scroll down to the end.
Too Kind Vintage Thank You

As you probably know…I love vintage style. I found this new Rue 88 paper line from Prima from a recent purchase of paper and realized I hadn’t used it on my blog yet. Love the gorgeous patterns on this double-sided paper! The bottom layer was sponged with ink, matted with Bravo Burgundy cardstock and then stitched to my vanilla cardstock base. I distressed the edge by pulling up the edges after stitching.
For my main image, the vanilla cardstock was die cut with my new Spellbinders oval die and then stamped with my 3 Step daisy set from Kitchen Sink Stamps. The sentiment was stamped with my Thanks with Style set by the same company…love that font! My scalloped edge mat was also die cut with my Spellbinders Nestabilities and the edges sponged with Chocolate Chip ink. For a simple embellishment, I tied a scrap of this gorgeous Melissa Frances Ivory Vintage Ribbon around a buckle of Hodgepodge Hardware and adhere it all with a glue dot. Amazing things those glue dots! Love them!

The Kitchen Sink is just NOT my favorite place to be. I’d much rather be playing with my kids or of course, stamping up a storm.
But I had this opportunity to review Kitchen Sink Stamps for an article for Craft Critique. I know. That’s two articles in less than a week…I’ve been a very busy girl! LOL But….I’ve been having so much fun, so it’s all good, right? My new Kitchen Sink Stamps were fabulous to work with. Love their style! I think I’m now addicted. I’ve included one of my designs below and the rest of my article is at Craft Critique.
Your Kindness Touched My Heart

This is one of my favorite designs that I’ve created with these new kitchen Sink Stamps. Love the flourishes and swirls…this stamp is from the Thanks With Style set. I just had to try it out with a little style.
A little different from what I usually do but oh so fun in a funky way.
When I saw this stamp, I just had to pair it up with this gorgeous Romantica line paper by Prima. It has that same great look… a little elegant, a little grunge. Pulling the color combo from the paper, I used Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Bravo Burgundy. The heart image is actually two stamps which makes it very flexible to use. I was really pleased with the clean impression these clear stamps gave with dye ink, even on the first try. A little sponging around the layers added to the dimension and style of this design.
For my embellishments, I added a small red heart clip from Making Memories. These are so darling and come in all kinds of colors and themes. Three little pewter brads anchor the main image at the bottom right. For my sentiment, I used one of the coordinating sentiments from the same set. Love that font and there are so many great thank you sayings. I stitched it down with a little brown stitching. I kept this design simple because I didn’t want to take away from the beauty of the images, both stamped and paper. Have a wonderful Friday!
