Winter is just around the corner and it certainly feels like it. I was amazed to see the quick decor change in the stores yesterday from Halloween to Christmas. Here in Canada we’ve already celebrated Thanksgiving so theme-wise, everyone seems to be ready to gear up for the holiday season.
Inspired by the drop in temperature and the latest CASE Study Blog challenge #115, I’ve created a quick design to share with you today.
I was inspired by the beautiful elegance of the inspiration design and the use of white against a lovely gradient of color. I had some paint chips sitting on my computer desk while I looked at the challenge and decided that they would make a fun and unique spin on a gradient. For this design the gradient goes both vertically and horizontally. The hues work from light towards darker on a vertical line and horizontally, the hues are desaturated as they go along. The sentiment is a lovely rub-on from American Crafts.
