the time of your life

Mini albums are one of my favourite ways to scrapbook. The cuteness factor is part of the attraction. All things small are cute. (except bugs! but let’s forget about those!) I also love small projects as they quick to put together. Let’s face it. We all have a limited amount of time for crafting so making things doable is a big plus. Journaling is also not my forte and as there’s not much space, well, that’s just fine with me if I have to keep it short and sweet.

Today’s project is a mini album that I’ve created as a gift. The interesting thing about it is that it’s not quite complete.

See? No photos! There’s a reason for that.

I created this tiny album as a gift for my daughter. I’m leaving that part up to her.

She needs to take the photos. She needs make the memories.

As you know if you’ve been reading my ramblings, she’s off at university working on her nursing degree. I know that it’s hard work but I also know that these are some of the best times of her life and I want her to remember that.

And so, to my dear girl, I hope you can cherish these days, make some wonderful memories and I hope you have the time of your life.

This project was also created for a Maya Road and Jillibean Soup blog swap. I’m on the blog today with more photos and details on this album. Be sure to check out this week’s projects while you are there as they are beyond stunning. There’s also a great prize up for grab’s so make sure you check out the details here.

Thanks for stopping by!
