Brighten My Day

Many things brighten my day.

Family. Friends. Creating. On-line friends. Crafty mail. Sharing with others.

Even challenges.

I thought I’d share a little haiku poem I wrote the other day when Paper Crafts Magazine on Facebook challenged us to write a paper crafting one. I tried to distill how I felt about designing. I’m not usually given to poetry (grade 12 English was the last time I’m sure) but I hope you’ll enjoy it.

You Brighten My Day

Quick Tip: die cut paper bags for a great way to recycle and add a unique look.

Supplies: kraft cardstock by Bazzill, Woodgrain Pattern Design Block by Hero Arts, pearl flourish by Zva Creative, white pigment ink by Clearsnap, Jet Black Archival Ink by Ranger, lace trim by Webster’s Pages, Tiny Attacher, flower by Basic Grey, Tattered Florals Die by Sizzix

I thought I’d wind up the year by brightening one of my reader’s days. Anyone interested in a giveaway? I really love the Hero Arts new Type stamp set. I mean REALLY, REALLY love it. Somehow I ordered two copies of it and since I only need one, can anyone use the other one? Just leave me a comment here on this post by 11:59 pm EST Friday December 31st. I’ll randomly draw a name from the comments to send out the set to. One comment per person please.

Have a fabulous day!
