a little togetherness

Every time I make a tag I mentally kick myself and wonder why I don’t make more of them. They are just so quick and fun! Even better, they use up all those little scraps I have laying around my desk.

I am hereby challenging myself to make more of them. Tie one on a little kraft gift bag and you’re good to go.

Togetherness Tag

This sweet little tag uses up some Togetherness scraps on my desk. Don’t you love these muted Cosmo Cricket colors? What I really like about this tag is the die cut paper rosette. It’s a Tim Holtz Sizzlets die. I’d held off on buying it as I didn’t think it would work in my Cuttlebug. As you can tell I broke down and gave it a whirl. You have to run it through part way and the die cut it the other as the die is long but it DOES work with a little finesse. Of course if you’re lucky enough to have a Big Shot, you’re all set. I had a great scrapbooking garage sale the other day and have a lovely credit at my local store. I’ve purchased some new Copic markers with it but I think I’m going back for that Big Shot too.

Quick Tip: Use a strong dry adhesive such as Wonder Tape by Ranger or Be Creative Tape to hold this rosette together.

What I love most about this project is the hit of green. I never would have used this bright green a few years ago but now it looks oh so fresh and fun. I love how color styles change breathing new life into the spectrum of things.
