I love orchids. They remind me of my mother. She had the most beautiful orchids in her kitchen window. While mine don’t look half as wonderful as hers, I try to continue the tradition as they remind me of her. They always make me smile. When redesigning our kitchen, I made sure that we designed in a window over the sink large enough to hold a few.
