It’s that time of the week again. Time for another Card Patterns sketch. I had fun putting my own spin on this sketch and making it into a window card. Sketch 57 is sponsored this week by Hero Arts. This Mi Casa set is just darling and I was impressed with how well the clear stamps inked and stamped. The tree and the house in this are separate images and I masked the house so that the tree would disappear behind it.

To put a fun spin on the sketch, I turned to oval section into a window instead of layering up. As you can see the image was stamped onto patterned paper, colored, die cut and then popped up on the inside of the card with dimensional foam adhesive.
Quick Tip: Most dies will cut a few layers out with one pass. Try it out on a sample before committing to your card.
