I’m adoring playing with the new Webster’s Pages lines. Stunning! This month WP on InspireME has a fun challenge to create an altered tin or box to give as a gift for a friend. I was inspired by the sweet sample and thought I’d get a jump ahead on one of my best friends’ birthday.
Friendship Tin and Tag
The tag was created from a Webster’s Pages journaling Card. I made it strong by adhering to a piece of cardboard that came with the 6×6 papers. Some Glimmer Mist gives it that brown speckled distressed look.
I cut 1.5″ squares and then adhered them to a paper strip that would fit around the tin. To make sure the edges did pop up when turning corners, I stitched all the seams. Love that quilted look.
Creating my own personalized flower was so much fun by spritzing this Prima flower with Glimmer Mist. Isn’t it pretty!
Tag details: silk ribbon with a twine tied crystal, a glimmer mist flower and a glittered butterfly.
Quick Tip: Wonder tape is a great way to adhere paper to tin.
