Sunday Sketch

Published by Julia Stainton at 6:22 am under Card Designs, Card Patterns Sketch

Do you like interactive cards? I love them but rarely make them. For this card though, I just had to make that little plane fly. The sketch worked out perfectly for it too!

This week I’ve used Card Patterns sketch #50 with a fun digital stamp set from Inktegrity. It’s called  High There and it is so super sweet. While hunting through my stash, I found this Cosmo Cricket paper. Could it be more perfect? I’m pretty tickled with how this design turned out.

Join us this week for the Card Pattern’s sketch #50. Our sponsor this week is Inktegrity. Enter by Friday at midnight for a chance to win a guest designer spot and a great prize.

Quick Tip: Add moveable elements by using a brad and a piece of clear plastic to make your plane fly.

While you can barely see it in most light…here’s a photo of the light catching the plastic that makes the plane “fly”.

Supplies: kraft cardstock by Bazzill, patterned paper by Cosmo Cricket, felt, sewing machine, grosgrain ribbon, brad, clear plastic
Do you make interactive cards? Why not give it a whirl?
