The Joy of the Sketch

I LOVE sketch challenges. I have a huge to do list today but while I was working on some design projects, I just had to take a break and play with this fun new sketch from Card Patterns. I had a little fun with it. You may have to look twice to see that it is the same sketch. The scalloped edges along the top and bottom were alluded to by the candies on the patterned paper and I simplified the design a little by stitching circles for the two circular layers. I had so much fun creating it and I’m totally lovin’ this Jolly by Golly Cosmo Cricket paper. It’s so fun, the colors and yummy and you can get a lot of fun different looks with it.
