Counting Blessings

Thanksgiving is just around the corner if you live in Canada. It’s always a great time to count your blessings. I do try to live each day with an attitude of gratitude but some days, I must admit, I do need a little reminder. Whether you’re counting blessings or enjoying getting the kids back to school, I thought it would be a fun challenge today to focus on numbers. Use them on an anniversary card, a birthday card or whatever you can thing of. Just count on having fun with this challenge. Check it out here.

To create the stamped background, I arranged the numbers onto a large clear acrylic block. It was easy to repeat stamp the large blocks of numbers without having to individually stamp each one. The Scrapblock stamped over top helps pull the layer together. I let the journaling block create the sentiment for me and added on a few of the things I am thankful for with a dymo label maker.

Supply List:

Stamps: Number Fun (Kim Hughes line) & Distressed Grid Scrapblock by CHF

Ink: Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink by Ranger, Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Tsukineko

Paper: Coredinations Cardstock, Kraft and Black Cardstock by Prism Papers

Other: Office Sheer by Maya Road, flower by Prima, brad by Imaginesce, ribbon, dymo label maker

Happy creating!
