A Bit of Autumn…

I’m afraid to say it but Fall is in the air. It’s feeling cool and crisp and you definitely need a sweater or more in the evenings. I hate the end of summer as it is just seems to go by so quickly. Once I get over it, I do fall in love with Fall. Apple picking, Canadian Thanksgiving, cool walks, falling leaves, pumpkins and squash. I also love Autumn themed projects and for some new releases…Becky has done it again! I’m just LOVING her new ATC sets…Can It & Fall Harvest. They’ve just been released and are so much fun to work with.

Quite the Pear

This box is a sweet little Creative Imaginations box that I picked up on sale at Michael’s. It was white with a little hinged lid as is the perfect size for a small gift or a gift card. I stamped all six sides and colored in the images with Copic Markers. Sponging distress inks on the edges instantly gave it the more worn, vintage style that I wanted.

Stamps: Can It (ATC line) by CHF
Ink: Rich Cocoa & Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Tsukineko, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink by Ranger
Paper: Simply Smooth white cardstock by CHF
Other: box by Creative Imaginations, ribbon by May Arts, safety pin by Creative Impressions, Copic Markers

Fall Raven

Here’s another little design. This is a 4.25″ square card using Jenni Bowlin papers. I stamped the raven onto some patterned paper and added a touch of stitching.

I’m pretty excited as I’ve pretty much finished up all the deadlines that I had to do this week and my stamp set is ready for plating. Yay! This one is definitely a labor of love. I hoping to squeeze in a few more beach days before school starts!

Take care!
