As I mentioned the other day, I was thrilled to have my card chosen for the Card Pattern Sketch winner. This means I was also asked to be guest designer for their sketch 28. It’s a fairly classic sketch that you can find here and this week their sponsor is My Graphico Digital Stamps. I was lucky enough to play along with these digital stamps.

To use the digital stamp images, I combined them in photoshop elements and arranged them together to create a little scene. I LOVE black silhouette flowers and these were fun to use. Printing off on Kraft cardstock instead of white gave a different look. For the color scheme, I thought it would be interesting to try out a black and kraft color combo and then add one bold hit of color in the ribbon for a fresh look.
- background layer is a printed Prima transparency, cut to size and stitched on
- sentiment was created with Making Memories alpha stickers that I stitched at the top
Quick Tip: Try printing digital images on patterned paper, kraft, various colors, even vellum.
Supply List: Digital Stamps by My Grafico , Kraft & Black cardstock by Bazzill Basics, patterned paper by Graphic 45, sewing machine, alphabet stickers & Vintage Findings pins by Making Memories, ribbon
Happy creating!
