One more day till release and today I have a project that includes most of the stamps in this set. If you look carefully you’ll be able to pick them out as I stamped them to create a collage paper background for this journal I created. I have a bad habit of thinking that tomorrow will be better and wanted a journal that would remind me to cherish today and the moments that I have…not the ones that may never come.
Write It Journal
I picked this journal up at Michaels a few weeks ago. It’s a great book to alter as it has a center image with plain sides. This makes it super easy to just put whatever you want to design right on top. I stamped randomly over the Kraft cardstock to create a large panel and then cut it into three smaller ones to break up the design visually. When stamping a collage, I try to vary the direction and angles of the images and also make sure that they overlap in some form or other. A good rule for choosing images is to vary the size and shape of the ones you choose so that it is more pleasing to the eye.
Quick Tip: Use a heavy duty adhesive on altered projects to keep them from falling apart with use.
