This and That… a couple pubs
I’m busy right now designing another stamp set so I haven’t had much time to actually sit down and stamp. I find I work best focusing on one thing or the other. I thought I’d share a couple published designs with you today that were in two different Cardmaker special publications. Before I do, I have a winner of my latest rubber giveaway. I used an on-line number generator to pick #34 as the winner of the Night Before Christmas stamp set. Congrats Jennifer Scull! Please send me an e-mail and I’ll get this out in the mail to you.
First Birthday

This first one is from the Cardmaker Sketch Book: Birthday Celebration. It’s a great resource and full of creative sketches to help jump start your cardmaking projects. I created a first birthday design using one of the sketches. The darling little elephant is from Kim Hughes’ Baby Love set.
Deck the Halls

This second card is from Fabulous Folds for Cardmaking. It’s a super cool book with lots of unique and creative techniques to make fun and interactive cards. I used an easy diagonal fold to create this pop of Christmas tree inside my card design.
Have a creative day!

well first off, I am just tickled all kinds of shades of pink to have been picked as the winner of that wonderful set!!!! thank you so much!
next, what cute cards! I really like the way you attached your crochet trim in the baby card - so totally clever! and lovin’ the fun fold of the holiday card! you are getting me in the mood to start crafting of few Christmas cards of my own this week.

Both of these cards are beautiful, but whoa! I’ve never seen a card like that Christmas tree one, it stopped me in my tracks (so to speak). What a clever idea - I’ll have to try that!

Can’t wait to see your new set…the baby card is beyond wonderful! I love those buttons for balloons and that tiny bit of lace trim…
Wow Julie, you’ve done it again. Great cards. The fold out one is really cool but love the birthday card too. Great colors on both. I’m bummed I didn’t get picked but there is always another time. Thanks for giving us that chance.
Okay, they are really neat cards, but that first birthday card is adorable. I just love it! I don’t know where you come up with all your ideas, but that is a great card!
Cute cards! Guess it’s time to start thinking about the Christmas card stash. I think that I might need that book, too. Looks like a cool resource!
