Back to School?
Anyone else thinking about back to school yet? We actually have almost another six weeks here before the kids go back but I’m starting to think ahead. It’s frightening how quickly the summer goes by. I still have a list of activities I want to do with them and of course…the lovely school shopping to do. I used to love shopping. I’m not quick sure what happened as I now dread it. One thing I do love about back to school is getting back into a better routine. If you’re thinking of school…today I have a sneak peek of a new stamp set that Becky has designed for the All Things Considered line. It’s beautiful and fun and very distinctive. I have a couple cards to share with you today. Both are thank yous…one for a teacher and the other, could suit just about anyone. School Primer goes on sale next Tuesday and I’ll have more samples for you soon!
As for the WT challenge this week…I’m taking one last week off. I had planned on posting one but we have a funeral to attend today and I didn’t want to get bogged down. Sherrie Siemens has kindly offered to post it for me and you can play along here. Thanks Sherrie!
Note of Thanks

Quick Tip; Brush white paint behind a transparency to highlight an area.

First off, both of these cards are gorgeous, and I can’t wait to see this new set! Secondly, the painting on the reverse side of the stamped acetate is amazing - LOVE that effect!! Will have to try that very soon - thanks for the inspiration.
These cards are adorable. It looks like this desk set is going to be great! We go back to school in 3 weeks! Thanks for all the lovely ideas and tips.
Loving the peeks!
And yes, I am thinking about school… Ours starts Aug. 31st, and in order to get our shopping done we travel 150 miles to our closest shopping Mecca… (If I want to buy clothes at a place other than a feed store!)…
These things have to be planned just so! The kids and I stay in a hotel with an indoor pool for a couple nights.. It’s one of the ’summer’ things we do, and we love it!
And, I love summer.. Wish it lasted until Oct. 31st…
Cool cards Julia. Yes, I’m thinking about back to school. My kiddos go back in two weeks! Yippee!! My DD is sooooo bored and is driving me crazy right now that I can’t wait. I’m in full shopping mode at the moment, got the supplies, now just have to replace the clothes they’ve outgrown during the summer. Who put the fertilizer in their shoes during the summer?
Lovely cards as always - our schools have just ‘broken up’ for their holidays
