I have a new Scrapblock released today. This is one I hope you’ll love as much as I do. It was a bit of a labour of love. 🙂 I love the vintage and newsprint look and thought it would be fun to have a stamp that captures the look. This Scrapblock makes a great background, a fun custom “patterned paper” layer and is also a fun way to customize embellishments. The Newspaper Ads Scrapblock works well on its own or paired up with other Scrapblocks such as Vintage Text, Vintage Ledger, Ornamental Borders etc.

This was a fun card design to make. I cut out the cough syrup ad portion of the Scrapblock and designed the project around it. Doesn’t it make a fun get well card? If you’re looking for more ideas for this scrapblock…some of the CHF designers have some great projects here.

Supply List:

Stamps: Newspaper Ads Scrapblock by CHF
Ink: Black Memento by Tsukineko, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink by Ranger
Paper: Simply Smooth white cardstock by CHF, patterned paper by October Afternoon
Other: sewing machine, ribbon by May Arts, corsage pin, button by Jenni Bowlin, dymo label maker, Tim Holtz mini stapler, foam letters by American crafts.

Have a great summer weekend!
