Monday Paris Style

I have another look at the new ATC, All Things Considered line. Today’s card uses the Key Elements set. There are so many beautiful images in this set. It’s hard to choose what to use. Now if you’re wondering how this line works, there are lots of fabulous elements that can work on any design as well as one ATC sized stamp. Think mini background to fit an ATC card, 2.5 x 3.5″ in size. In this design you can see how I used it on a card as a panel element. They also make fabulous tags or decorative elements for an altered project or layout.I stamped my ATC sized image and the circular image onto Simply Smooth Vanilla cardstock and then colored them in with Copic markers.

Did you notice the background? No…it’s not stitched but STAMPED.  It’s a peek at the second Scrapblock being released this month, the Stitches Scrapblock. I was really excited to design this stamp. You know how much I love stitching and this stamp is a great and easy way to add interest and the stitching look to your project.

I also just have to have a proud momma moment and share with you one of the drawings my daughter did this year in her grade ten art class. Colored pencils have never been my forte but she really shines with them. This drawing as well as a painting of hers went into her school art show this year. I’m hoping she’ll take the time to draw her younger brothers this summer. I would treasure it.
