A Moxie Fab Hop Skip and a Jump

If you’ve visited my blog before, you’ll know how much I love to stamp. One of my favorite magazines, Stamp It! Cards has just hit the stands with lots of fabulous stamping projects, tips and ideas. Seriously…it’s fabulous. Check it out at your local scrapbooking or bookstore or find it on-line here.  If you like stamps as much as I, Paper Crafts magazine is  hosting Stamp It! Week  on their Paper Crafts Blog.  You won’t want to miss it.

Speaking of things you won’t want to miss… have you ever stopped by Cath Edvalson’s Moxie Fab World? It’s always full of beautiful photos, great inspiration and often something fun to give away. Cath has an extra fun post today. Do you like designer cards? Want some? Cath asked 10 of the designers from Stamp It Cards to create a special card, just to give away. My Create card can be found below and if you stop by Cath’s blog, you’ll have a chance to win my signed card as well as 9 others, one each from the other designers. I’m thrilled to be part of this giveaway. Wish I could enter as I’d love a card from these ladies too! I know you’ll recognize these names! Here they are…

If you’re still reading…wow! Thanks for sticking with me. 🙂 I tried to create this card design with a few of my favorite things in mind. Stitching, butterflies, Distress Crackle Paint, Kraft cardstock and of course…stamping. I actually used a lot of different stamps in this design, all of them among my favorites. Scrapblocks, Kim Hughes, flowers, Thomas Kinkade and my new Distressed Circles Scrapblock stamped in white.

Quick Tip: When using a lot of different stamps, keep a few of the design elements the same to keep it cohesive. In this design I stamped each same size square with the same Rich Cocoa Memento Ink.

Thanks for stopping by and have fun blog hopping today. Don’t forget you need to comment on this post at MFW and good luck on winning those designs!
