I’m all for healthy stamping? How about you?! I have two new card designs to share with you today…both of which I’m pretty excited about. I just love these new Shady Tree Studio stamps as they are perfect for so many projects. I mean really…who doesn’t like to eat?! My first design is pretty “stampy”, my second, a little more fun. Before I ramble on… ;)…. I just wanted to thank you for all the sweet comments yesterday. What a great way to start the week.
Harvest Hostess Note
When I first saw these beautiful sketched images, they reminded me so much of some kitchen tile I have seen. I thought it would be so much fun to try to create a tiled look using this new set, Vegetable Harvest, stamped onto inchies. To get the look of the images lining up from tile to tile, I simply lightly adhered the inchies together on some scrap paper. After stamping, I colored the images and background with my Copic markers and then overstamped with the French Script Backgrounder. To get the tile look, I peeled up the inchies and lightly sponged each edge to add definition. Wouldn’t this make a great hostess thank you card?

Sweet Cherries
Now cherries speak “summer” to me. How about you? We had one day of some glorious spring weather on Friday before pouring rain all weekend and dropping temperatures arrived. I cannot wait!!! This design uses some brand new Graphic 45 paper paired up with the cherries image from the Fruit Basket set. I stitched on a Fine Houndstooth Scrapblock stamped layer to add more red to the mix. I’m loving the vintage look of this color combo…red, black, green and ivory.
