Inspiration Everywhere…

In these frugal economic times, it pays to keep your eyes open and find inspiration everywhere! It’s amazing what you can incorporate with stamps and supplies you already have to give them a fresh look. Recently my daughter was given a gift and was about to throw out the packaging when I made a great save. I just love this shredded paper and thought it would make a darling nest. And thus…today’s challenge is born. ;) I hope you’ll join me for the Ways to Use Frugal Finds Challenge! Here’s the link.

Bluebird of Happiness

Here’s a few money saving ideas that I use…
-recycle things
-alter frames and containers that are ready for the bin
-buy cardstock in bulk
-find ways to use up those scraps
-clip buttons off old worn-out clothes before you toss them
-purchase flexible stamps that can be used over and over…think flowers, backgrounders and scrapblocks, sentiments
-cut down on those layers…you don’t need them all anyways!
-think up new ways to use what you already have

Have a beautiful day!

Julia this is stunning! I love all the kraft but it’s that pop of turquiose that gives it a real WOW factor :)

This card is pure awesomeness (quoting Kung Fu Panda). Really, the stuffing as the nest, the colors, the message. Your cards are so soothing and lovely. Thanks SO much for making our day!

What a pretty card Julia! And great ideas for recycling. I feel awful when I discover something ‘I just HAD to have’ and find it’s still brand new. I still enjoy buying new things… but have in fact become much more frugal in using up what I have as well.

Why have I never thought to do that?!? You’re brilliant! This card is gorgeous — the teal just pops against the kraft! :)
