License to Drive

Published by Julia Stainton at 5:16 am under Card Designs, Cornish Heritage Farms

I had so much fun putting together this fun card that I hope you like it! I wanted a very scrappy collage look combining a lot of elements. What could you use this card for…well…how about I miss you, have a great trip or how about a card for a new driver. Hmmmm….I have that to look forward to again in a few months….sigh. Life is full of interesting twists! I taught my oldest child to drive. I’m thinking maybe it’s hubby’s turn next!

 Travel Card

This card was inspired by this new License Plates stamp that you see in the bottom half of the design. I stamped it right on my patterned paper. This stamp is part of a Saturday Evening Post release at CHF next Tuesday. It’s super fun to pair up with the GM line as well.

Quick Tip: To get the look of a die-cut…stamp and color your image then cut out leaving a slight border. Lightly sponge the edges and adhere to your design.

Have a wonderful day! What’s up tomorrow? A simply onederful challenge. ;) See you then!

I love it! I need a special card for a neighbor who came to my rescue with car issues awhile back. He wouldn’t take payment but something as fantastic as this with some home made cookies or muffins might just do the trick! Sure wish I could just buy my cards from you - it would be much cheaper! My Elvis adventure ended up costing me $$ because I kept adding and changing paper etc. Thanks so much for all your inspiration. You are truly gifted!

This is cute! I love all the elements to it. It would be cute with an older car, for oder people, birthday and such…maybe a car key…I love that stamp you used and how you put the card together.
    Very creative!

What a delightful card! I do wish my talents extended to doing things like that, but they don’t seem to, so I’m grateful when someone shares such wonderful creations.
