The hard ones…

Do you have cards that you find difficult to make. Like many people…I always find it difficult to create sympathy cards. How can you ever find the right words? Yesterday I needed to create a sympathy card for an on-line friend who just lost her husband unexpectedly. So sad. I decided to go with a simple, classic layout and some soothing touches. I was actually inspired by this bird clip that was on my desk….

With Sympathy

This design actually uses some brand new releases from Cornish Heritage Farms. As of yesterday, some of Kim’s beautiful silhouette flowers and plants are available for purchase separately in wood mount or unmounted. I used the Fern stamp.  I created a beautiful soft background using the new Fine Lines backgrounder stamped in a pale blue. I love pairing up soft blues and greens together with kraft cardstock. OK, OK…I love pairing up Kraft cardstock with just about anything. 😉

Quick Tip: add a glue dot under the top of clips (such as this bird one) to keep it from moving around in the mail.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!
