Joy,Peace, Hope… an inspirational post
While cleaning and sorting my stamps a few weeks ago, a couple of my stamps just seemed to fall together. This card immediately popped into mind. The most important part of Christmas to me is celebrating its origin. And while the story starts in Bethlehem, I added the shadow of the cross as that is the rest of the story. The joy, peace and hope are found there. If you’ve ever heard the song…Lord I Lift Your Name on High, it was my inspiration.
From the Cradle to the Cross
Wishing you a blessed day,

What an awesome card! I love how you tied the cross into his birth!! from my few it looks almost inset. Love the stitching!

Wow…it’s beautiful!
Such a lovely card! And no better inspiration!
Wonderful! and Happy Thanksgiving Julia!
So pretty, J! Great idea for the cross placement! Have a great holiday!
This is simply lovely. I agree about celebrating the origin. Our family tries to steer away from the commercial Christmas that is so often celebrated.
Beautiful card, beautiful message. It’s nice to be reminded of the “why” isn’t it?
How very simple but beautiful. It would be a very meaningful card for many. What a inspired idea.
One of my favorite songs :)! Love your card!
Great card inspired by a wonderful song! I love how you applied it so beautifully to a card.
Beautiful card. That is one of my favorite songs also. I love the way you expressed it on the card. Great Job. God Bless.
How perfect - to tie both the beginning and the “end” of the story into one card! (I love the soft colours of the card too!)
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration!
