Joy,Peace, Hope… an inspirational post

Published by Julia Stainton at 6:02 am under Card Designs, Inspirational

While cleaning and sorting my stamps a few weeks ago, a couple of my stamps just seemed to fall together. This card immediately popped into mind. The most important part of Christmas to me is celebrating its origin. And while the story starts in Bethlehem, I added the shadow of the cross as that is the rest of the story. The joy, peace and hope are found there. If you’ve ever heard the song…Lord I Lift Your Name on High, it was my inspiration.

From the Cradle to the Cross

This is simply lovely. I agree about celebrating the origin. Our family tries to steer away from the commercial Christmas that is so often celebrated.

Beautiful card, beautiful message. It’s nice to be reminded of the “why” isn’t it?

How perfect - to tie both the beginning and the “end” of the story into one card! (I love the soft colours of the card too!)
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration!
