Two Ways…. Halloween and Christmas, two designs with one stamp
Halloween and Christmas. Well, I know these two aren’t usually linked together but just bear with me for a minute.
I’ve linked them in this post as I came across these two cards I had made that I hadn’t shared with you. They both use the same Backgrounder stamp, stamped in two different ways to create a background for two very different themes. By simply changing up the colors and embellishments (the layout is almost exactly the same) you can get two very different looks! This Trees Backgrounder is also beautiful with a sponged or brayered sunset, spring colors, a fall theme…use your imagination!
Spooky Boo

Supplies: Stamps - Trees Backgrounder by Cornish Heritage Farms, cardstock by Prism, Chipboard by Melissa Frances, pin by Fancy Pants Designs, rhinestone, sewing machine
Quick Tip: White chipboard is super fast and easy to color by sponging with ink. Sponge solid as in the bat for a dark look or sponge just the edges for the moon to get a dimensional and glowing effect.
Frosty Trees
Supplies: Stamps - Trees Backgrounder by Cornish Heritage Farms, cardstock by Prism, vellum snowflake stickers, sewing machine, velvet ribbon by Flair, hardware by We R Memory Keepers
Quick Tip: Don’t forget to use white pigment/craft ink when creating. It can give the same stamp a quick and totally different look!
Have a wonderful Friday!

Beautiful cards Julia!
one stamp….two different looks….magnificent!
I’m not a huge halloween fan but your card is GREAT!!! I love the warm colors, very fall, very terrific!!!!
These are both gorgeous! Great versatility of that backgrounder!
How cool…I always enjoy seeing cards done using the same stamps but different perspectives. These are great. Got to say that the Halloween one caught my eye just a “hair” more then the Winter card but they are both wonderful.
How cool, so neat to see how different you can make these using the same stamp, great effect, and neat stamp!
Very pretty. Love the tree backgrounder!
Great cards!! It’s always interesting to see the same thing in different ways! (Must say…I LOVE that Halloween one!)
