Just a Quickie!

Published by Julia Stainton at 9:34 am under Card Designs, Cornish Heritage Farms

Good morning! Happy Monday! It’s been quite the weekend here so I’m hoping for a good start to this week. I didn’t end up getting to that wedding. Sigh…sick kids and more sick kids! I’m so glad that today’s Monday challenge is one that I can fit in…quick cards! I love making quick cards…actually, I’ve gotten so that if they’re not quick, I rarely make them. I’ve put together a few super quick cards today. I love Kim Hughes Mocha Chica paper pack as she has two pages of darling coordinating sentiments in the pack. They are so easy to cut out and layer making your card a breeze. If you’re looking for ideas for more quick cards…CHF has a new gallery especially for that. Next time you only have a few minutes to create…why not check it out?

As quick cards are today’s challenge…we hope you’ll join us and have some fun! You will also want to check out these quick card ideas from some of the other CHF designers. Enjoy!  Jen, Kim, Val, Alli, Joanne, Kristine, Carol, Lisa Silver, Michele, Becky, Julie

Here’s a few quick ideas…

  • Kim Hughes’ Mocha Chica paper pack makes it super quick to coordinate
  • Use clean layouts with minimal layers
  • add some fun quick embellishments
  • make the cards small…they are cute that way and go together faster!
  • use a white card base for a crisp look.

This card is super small…just 3 x 3.5″  So cute that way!

This card is larger.. 5″ square.

Now if you’re looking for the winner of the WCD magazine from Paper Crafts…I’ll be back later. Sorry for the delay…I’m madly trying to get caught up and look after sick kids!

Oh…and speaking of quick…I just had to add in this photo from the wedding on Saturday. I managed to make it into a super quick digi layout using a template. :) I had my daughter take some shots while they were there.
