I love your blog–you always do something different from everyone else. Thanks for sharing your work. As for Oct 4th, I’m going to make something new and different. I’m going to try a technique I haven’t tried before.

  4. Darlene Gabrielon 27 Sep 2008 at 10:02 am

Hi Julia, Thanks for all your inspiration - I always look forward to your blog. I hope to getting a start on my Christmas cards and although I thought I had an idea, I now have seen so many new ones that I may be making a variety of different ones this year instead of sticking to one design and stamp set. On Oct 4th though I may be working on the monogram gift sets I have planned for some friends. Have a great day.

I will be away from home at my nephew’s wedding, so no card making day activities for me. But I need to get busy and make some cards to give away that day, so maybe that could be my way of celebrating!
Thanks for a chance to win!

I can’t wait for WCD. I have an event to go to!
As for Christmas cards, I am loving Inkadinkado stamps! I’m thinking of getting some of them.
BTW, thanks for sharing all of your work with us.

  13. Donna Zamoraon 27 Sep 2008 at 5:04 pm

I recently got a snowman punch that I plan to use in making Christmas cards. I’ve experimented with various techniques that I can use on cards, tags, gifts, etc.

  14. Angelaon 27 Sep 2008 at 5:53 pm

I don’t know WHAT to do for my Christmas cards this year. It’s time to stop recycling the 5 sets of holiday stamps I have and add a new set to the mix but what to choose?

I think I’m going to look for something with text, lots of lovely fonts & sentiments.

And I’m a traditional colour kind of gal.

  15. Conniecrafteron 27 Sep 2008 at 6:48 pm

I haven’t set on a card for the holidays this year yet….I try to do alot of the same but do special ones for our parents. It will be fun to do some challenges!

  16. Louon 27 Sep 2008 at 7:15 pm

    Hello Julia,
Thanks for all the info. I am in a frenzy of fall birthday cards and I haven’t got a plan for my holiday cards yet so I will be looking for inspiration.

  17. Nellieon 27 Sep 2008 at 8:14 pm

I will be making around 55 Christmas cards for family and our church community. Awesome, I would love to win a copy. Thanks for the chance.

  18. Lindaon 27 Sep 2008 at 9:56 pm

Hi Julia…I plan on using a few SU! Christmas sets to make a variety of Chrissy cards…don’t want to get bored just churning out the same over and over so am working on a few styles. Cheers.

  19. Mimion 27 Sep 2008 at 11:37 pm

    Hi Julia,
I’m a frequent visitor of your blog. I love your style, and look forward to seeing what cards you’ve made. I will probably get started on making candy boxes made of acetate, which I plan to give out for Christmas. Thanks for the chance to win the magazine.

  20. Mary Dinuccion 28 Sep 2008 at 6:51 am

Well… now that World Card Making Day is bearing down on me, I will put together a prototype for a Christmas card. The actual production of 50 or so cards will have to wait. We will be away from home (and all my stamping stuff) for the weekend. Our daughter Marcy and her husband are taking us to Ruth Chris Steak House to say “thanks” for our help during the birth of #3 baby! What great kids we have!

  21. Monika/buzsyon 28 Sep 2008 at 7:18 am

I got to mark my calendar and make sure I stamp that day. :o) I should make easy but elegant cards this year. I am a bit behind with Christmas cards so I want to be ready when the time comes to send the cards out. Thanks for the chance to win the magazine. I sure could use some inspirations. :o)

  22. Diane Loyon 28 Sep 2008 at 10:50 am

I am lucky enough to be visiting family for a few weeks, so I will be making cards with my Mom and 5 sisters. You can’t imagine how happy that makes me feel. We will work on cards, plus we want to try some really cute peppermint pattie Halloween goodies. When I made them last year for Christmas, my DGkids loved how cute they were, yet didn’t hesitate to devour them!

  26. Angelinaon 29 Sep 2008 at 8:04 am

I am working on birthday cards as usual, but also thank you cards to some women who’ve helped me with a church project and Halloween cards for my Godchildren.

So many projects…so little time! I have so many things I want to do for this holiday season, including making my approximately 90 Christmas cards! We don’t live by family and have lived in many places, thus the need for so many cards. I’ll have to cut this short - I’ve got to get started!

  36. Cassandraon 03 Oct 2008 at 9:45 am

I will be working Xmas cards with my neighbour/girlfriend. Of course I will be using some of your ideas to make some interesting and unique cards. I might even check out a scrapbooking garage sale at my favorite store.

This holiday season I plan on making my Christmas cards. I’ve got 24 to make this year. I’ve got all of the pieces ready to go, I just need to come up with a saying for the inside & get them essembled.

  40. Terri Scotton 03 Oct 2008 at 2:18 pm

I’m busy making birthday cards - so many in the fall. I’m a newbie to this, and love surfing the net looking for more ideas (and finding wonderful ones too!)

  41. Nimueon 03 Oct 2008 at 6:28 pm

Hi. I’ve taken 4 of Jessica’s classes and really liked them. I especially like the fact that the material is available to you for ever - Yay! I’m taking the photography course just now and I’m beginning to feel less intimidated by my camera. The problem is there is never enough time to do all I want to do. HCMd. - Nimmy
