A little dab’ll do ya…
LOL This title popped into my mind while writing this entry and I just couldn’t resist using it.No…I’m NOT using Brylcreem today…the dab comes from paint dabbers. I’ve recently been trying them out and having a blast. Mostly…I’ve just used them as a fabulous way to paint chipboard and grungeboard but there are so many other ideas for them too!If you’ve never tried the Ranger Adirondack Paint Dabbers…they are a fabulous product and I love the unique opaque, matte paint look…totally different than ink. They are also super easy to work with…you really DON’T need a brush. Sigh….I’ll admit one of my MANY faults is NOT enjoying washing out brushes. I think I’ve ruined more than my fair share.
Paint Dabbers are this week’s Challenge Chicks challenge sooooooooo…if you want some cool ideas, check these out…. Kristine, Kim, Lisa, Sherrie, Joanne. If you have paint dabbers already, I challenge you to give them a whirl and play along here.
Falling for You

I had lots of fun with my paint dabbers on this card design. First of all I decided to try using out two different paint dabbers, Lettuce and Espresso on my Oak Leaves Backgrounder. Even on a dark patterned paper background (more yummy MochaChica) the opaque paint stands out, blends well and stamps great! I also couldn’t resist trying out white paint dabbed and swiped along the edges of my layers. It really makes my Clear Card Sheet stand out and adds a really distressed look to the edges. Finally…some painted swiped behind my sentiment makes it stand out.
Have a great Monday!
