It’s in the air or just around the corner….Fall! I love this time of year. Of course, back to school just may have something to do with it. š It’s nice to be able to have an hour or two of quiet each day while my youngest naps. I’m also starting to see the trees begin to change color. I don’t like them barren in the winter but what a glorious send-off before they leave. (Sorry…absolutely no pun intended! I just noticed it after I finished typing!) In Ontario we usually have a glorious show of color that lasts until after Canadian Thanksgiving….this year October 13th.

Giving Thanks
This design was super easy to create.. I used two sheets from Kim’s new Mocha Chica paper pack. I’m just loving all the different ways and flavors I can get from this one pack of paper! My leaf is stamped right on the paper after inking direct from my Adirondack ink pads. I always like to add some cozy texture to Fall and Winter card designs…in this case, I stitched around my card with linen thread and made a “ribbon” from a piece of felt I cute into a strip before stapling on.
