Fall….

It’s in the air or just around the corner….Fall! I love this time of year. Of course, back to school just may have something to do with it. šŸ˜‰ It’s nice to be able to have an hour or two of quiet each day while my youngest naps. I’m also starting to see the trees begin to change color. I don’t like them barren in the winter but what a glorious send-off before they leave. (Sorry…absolutely no pun intended! I just noticed it after I finished typing!) In Ontario we usually have a glorious show of color that lasts until after Canadian Thanksgiving….this year October 13th.

This September, the Stamp of the Month is a beautiful set of two stamps, Giving Thanks for You andĀ  Leaf and Acorns. I’ve seen sooo many gorgeous samples and ideas for using this set making it perfect for your Autumn crafting projects.

Giving Thanks

This design was super easy to create.. I used two sheets from Kim’s new Mocha Chica paper pack. I’m just loving all the different ways and flavors I can get from this one pack of paper! My leaf is stamped right on the paper after inking direct from my Adirondack ink pads. I always like to add some cozy texture to Fall and Winter card designs…in this case, I stitched around my card with linen thread and made a “ribbon” from a piece of felt I cute into a strip before stapling on.

Sending warm hugs your way…
