Yesterday most of my children went back to school. What better theme to create this week’s layout around? The first day is always fun as they are anxious to see their friends again and see how the school year will shape up. It’s going to be fun getting used to some revised school schedules this year but things have gone smoothly for the most part so far.
Today I have another layout sketch for you. I’m loving what the other girls have come up with so make sure you check out their designs…. Alli, Jennifer, Kristine, Carol
We hope you’ll join us…here’s the details…
Dream Big
This layout is of the two of my children that are at high school this year. To be honest…this isn’t my favorite page. It DOES look better in person but if I were to redo it…I think I’d add more pattern to the middle base layer. I’ve added in some stamping to this layout. The alphabet stamped on the bottom layer is the new Old Typewriter Scrapblock™ by Cornish Heritage Farms. I love it’s distressed look and its perfect for so many things including back to school.
Have a fabulous day!
Julia
