Hi Julia...wow great info on the copic markers. I have not jumped on the band wagon as of yet, but I'm definiately leaning that way.
I noticed you have not mentioned Papertrey white paper - can this be used or will it bleed on it.
Also, staz on or palette inks not advised???
Thanks for all the info

Hi Julia....I completely agree with everything you have written concerning Copics. I have several and find I never want to color with anything else...I have to make myself go to other coloring techniques. I purchased my first set of sketch markers from Ellen Hutson, then ordered some additional colors from Eclectic Paperie, and then found Carpe Diem to give me the best individual marker price...and just in case your readers have not heard, Carpe Diem's price per sketch marker is not the $4.95 price they post, but rather, $3.95 each....the lower price shows up when you view your cart, but I think this offer will only be available through the end of this current year. I don't have the airbrush system yet...but maybe someday I will. Just thought I'd add my less than 0.2 cent opinion on these fabulous markers. Oh, and like you, I do own the 'other' brand of alcohol markers, but, once I tried Copics, I was convinced my money could have been better spent....these are by far, the best marker, giving the best results....again, my little humble opinion.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and added information on using these markers for great results. I have not tried some of the inks you discussed as being compatible with the markers, but I will now...wink, wink! Thanks for all you do to help us perfect are coloring adventures!
Hugs, Barb g

Hi Julie, I'm wondering if you have been buying your copics from the states, or have you found a Canadian source yet?
