A Little Vintage…
Do you like vintage? I love all things vintage! Today’s card design is a mix of things I found and put together into a friendship thinking of you design. This card was published in the June/July issue of Paper Trends and I’m anxiously awaiting it back. The silver brooch is actually on my grandmother gave me. I spent a lovely morning last September looking through old family photos with my aunt. It seems the beach has been a very popular place for previous generations whether it be the shores of the Atlantic on the coast of Northern Ireland or the tamer shores of Lake Huron that I visit. I must say…I’ve never seen anyone quite so dressed up to visit the shore before! 
I love those photo though. Isn’t she stylin’?!

I LOVE it! and she is beautiful……that brooch is very unique! We used to spend a few weeks in the summer in Ipperwash and then on to Goderich area when the kids were little…….loved it and miss it……

Lovely! Had to laugh about your comment on being overdressed for the beach - I have one of my mother, aunt and grandmother on the shores of Lake Superior dressed similarly, cooking over a beach fire! LOL I never knew you needed to wear pearls to a picnic!
Those were the days huh, when you got all dressed up to go anywhere, great pic and card!
