A Little Blue….

My post today is a little blue. Not that I’m feeling blue…just a little busy these days. Ok…swamped! LOL Michele Boyer was so kind to step in this morning for me and post today’s Ways to Use it Challenge. Thanks Michele! If you’re looking for a challenge…here it is.
But I did manage to make a little time to play with some new stamps that came in the mail today. So….where does the blue come into the title? How about some stamps featuring the No. 1 Blue Engine. In case you didn’t know…that Thomas the Tank Engine. The Thomas and Friends line releases today at Cornish Heritage Farms. As I have lots of boys, Thomas has had a place in our home for the past twelve to fifteen years. I still have little boys that play with Thomas and they were quite excited with what the mail brought. I know they are going to be coloring along beside me.

To keep them happy, I designed up a quick frame project for their room….

Truly…the reds DO go better than in the photo. Something about the way the light caught them in the photo. 🙁 This is an 8×8 frame that I picked up at Michael’s. Keeping it short and sweet…I’ll be back later to add the supply list. Here’s the full Thomas and Friends first release. CHF will be adding to it each month with lots of fabulous coordinates.

Quick Tip: Don’t feel you have to stamp the entire image on a Backgrounder or Scrapblock. I inked up an uneven edge on my train tracks Backgrounder to have it fade into the patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by! Check back tomorrow as I have some more wall-art for you. I know you’re going to love this one!
