Vroom, vroom….

jks-gm-stamps.jpg

Late post here today…it’s been one of those days! 🙂 I think you’ll be excited with this new line CHF releases today…GM! How cool is that?! Perfect for those guy (and car-lovin girl) cards, scrapbook pages and altered projects.
Keep on Cruisin’

I just had to pair up this funky Static Crate Paper with this retro car…a 1957 Bel Air. I cut out the paper so that the design would be able to have that Route 66 road sign. To stamp my image, I used some repetition stamping give the car some movement. I inked up my stamp, stamped it firmly at the right (the blue is the reverse side of the Crate paper) and then moved the car to the left, stamped again and repeated twice more. Some light coloring with a couple Copic Makers highlights the main image. Lisa Strahl has also designed a great accompanying sentiment set called You’re a Classic to work perfectly with these images. With lots of GM lovin’ males in this family…I’m really excited about this release!

I’m going to keep this short as it’s been a long day!

Have a great night!
Julia
