Joy and Peace

Published by Julia Stainton at 5:25 am under Card Designs, Cornish Heritage Farms

Happy Friday and happy Fourth of July to my American friends! Another Christmas in July card design to share with you today. How many of you have started your cards yet?! :) I’m finding it surprisingly fun to switch gears and create a lot of Christmas designs. Today’s design features the latest CHF Sandra Kuck release, Ready for Christmas. This beautiful ornate image can be colored, stamped monochromatically or simply highlighted with a small amount of color.

I also wanted to apologize for so many Feedblitz updates yesterday. I was told I could keep my “I Get By” post at the top by changing the date. This also sent out an EXTRA Feedblitz notice and it just was not my intention to bombard you with them. Thank you so much to all of you who are voting for me. It’s a very tight race and I’ve been just thrilled with all the support you are giving me each day! Ultimate Summer Challenge Voting LInk Thanks so much!

Also of note….

I’ve been hoarding this beautiful pink velvet paper for months in my stash. Seriously…it’s gorgeous. I just couldn’t pink up the texture and richness with the camera. This paper is easy to emboss and embossing on the textured surface gives you an interesting textured embossing finish. This design smells particularly yummy as I used a vanilla scented embossing powder. I added in tiny highlights of color with my Copic markers.

Thanks for stopping by… Happy Fourth of July!

Julia

    Julia -

This is beautiful! I too have started a few Christmas cards and am having a lot of fun - of course they are with last years supplies that I never got around to using!!

I also wanted to mention how much I am loving the new scrapblock backgrounds from CHF - finally I can do a “regular” size square card with a bg stamp!!!

Off to vote - thanks again for sharing!
