Once Upon a Time

Published by Julia Stainton at 1:42 pm under Cornish Heritage Farms, Scrapbooking

Once upon a time, there was a VERY happy girl. Why? She opened her mailbox and lo and behold…her Scrapblocks ™ had arrived! Five beautiful big 6×6 squares of wonderful rubber. She just couldn’t resist tearing them open and putting them right to the test. They were every bit as wonderful as she had imagined and then some. Here’s her (my) ;) first creations using a couple of the designs… Perfect Plaid and Vintage Ledger. These new Scrapblocks™ go on sale tomorrow at Cornish Heritage Farms and just for the initial release day only…double CHF points on Scrapblocks™.

I think my absolutely favorite Scrapblock™ and soon to be stamp of all time :) is the Vintage Ledger design. This stamp is perfect for journaling on, making patterned paper with, as well as forjks-once-upon-close.jpg using on card and altered project designs. I love how you can stamp it on patterned paper, cardstock, anything that stays still long enough to stamp. ;) The Perfect Plaid is also gorgeous and I love how stamping right on the patterned paper of this layout anchors the design and adds a warm pattern and texture. A few stamps from The Rummage Bin line add in my title. My patterned paper is from the Steel Toe Mary Jane line by Prima. For the journaling…

Never forget that you are a beautiful princess. Yes, you are beautiful on the outside but your true beauty lies on the inside. Yes, you are a princess. You’re a daughter of the King of Kings.

Wow!!…to everything, but especially to your poetic journaling!! I call my daughter Princess all the time (she’s 5)…and I tell her all the time that she is God’s Princess as well as mine. Thanks for sharing.
