Warm Fuzzies…

Published by Julia Stainton at 9:11 am under Card Designs, Cornish Heritage Farms

It’s a terribly cold, damp morning here today. I decided it was time to pull out this darling little kitten stamp from the new Tom Allen line. So sweet, I love all the texture in the image…basket, fur, wool. I decided to play up on that and add some texture embellishments and a little stitching. The paper is also new…the Cogsmo 8 Cosmo Cricket paper. I know this really is a boys’ robot line but I think is works for this as well. I love flexible paper. :)

Cozy Kitten

This Sleeping Kitten Image from Cornish Heritage Farms is colored using Copic markers. AFter coloring, I inked all the edges of my layers and adhered to my card. To frame the kitten, I added a little rectangle of stitching around the design. I love adding scraps of knotted ribbon to a design. The red velvet May Arts ribbon is held on with a glue dot.

Sending warm thoughts your way today,
