Sprinkle Joy…
Yesterday I took a short time out to finally create a card. yay! It’s been a super-long week here! I’ve gotten a lot done and still so much to do but…I really needed a stamping break! The Limited Supply Challenge was to use products that you were wondering why you purchased them in the first place! Hmmmmm….I think Jen has been listening in all week as I sorted and purged. If I had a dollar for each time I have said that this week I’d be a happy girl! The second part of the challenge was to mix it up with a floral design. I love flowers so I couldn’t resist and went to to work.

While cleaning up, I found this beautiful stamp set that I’ve never used. Love the flower prints! It reminds me a lot of the old SU Petal Prints set. It was so simple to ink up with markers and create a bouquet. I love this style of stamping! So pretty but quick and easy too! This stamp set is a purple rubber set from See D’s. Hope I have that right. I just did a little Google research for you.
See D’s are from Sugar Loaf which has merged with Inque Boutique. Stephanie Barnard is the designer and it see as though this set is no longer being made.
Now for the what was I thinking elements!
I actually used four and now that I’ve used them, well, they aren’t so bad. lol. The brown textured paper that I have no idea where it came from, the dollar store metal photo corner, the brad alphabet letters (I do like these but I’m having the dickens of a time trying to keep them all square! I think I’ve adjusted them 20 times…NO exageration) and the fuzzy fibre. Why on earth did I think I needed 6 packages of this stuff? I may have used it twice!
Supply List:
cardstock: white - Staples, Patterned Paper: pink floral by My Mind’s Eye, brown textured paper - unknown
stamps: See D’s
Ink: burnt Umber by Stewart Superior, SU markers
Other: brad letters - Colorblok, fibres, metal photo corner - dollar store

I have some brads like that, too. You just have to stick them down with double-sided tape so that they stick to the CS they are going through and also to the next layer. The card is very pretty! I should do some creative card making with some “what was i thinkings” too!
I like that stamp set you used. If you ever get rid of it, let me know first.
Lovely!
Very pretty Julia! I have a bunch of that stupid fuzzy stuff too!!!
Such a beautiful card out of things you didn’t think you needed! The coloring of your stamp is lovely!
Simply Gorgeous!
Love that stamp set-the colors you used sure made a beautiful card. The accents look good as well. tfs
