Just popping in to say…
Hi! I thought I’d share this fun little dotted card I created. This layout is from a PaperCrafts sketch layout. I thought it would be fun to try it out as it is a layout I would never think to try. Now this is another scrappy card, but bear with me…I’ll have a stamped design for you again soon.
I also just wanted you to know…I’m taking the week off.
Nope…not going anywhere and it is hardly going to be relaxing, but with this renovation…I just need some time to focus on that. My goal this week is to stay off the computer as much as possible and get a lot done. My good news is the concrete in the kitchen is curing well and we’ll probably be able to start tiling the floor in another week. I’ve been three and a half weeks without a kitchen and probably another 3 to go but we are surviving. So….what does this mean…I probably won’t be able to resist popping on and sharing a design or two this week but I won’t be posting every day. Wish me luck!

This is a lovely card! I really like the softness of it! Good luck with all your renovations! You are brave.
Have a good week!
Beautiful. I love that flower.
I never would have thought of doing that layout either. It is fantastic with the sewing and the flower and the colors! Nice! Have a productive week!
Love the card. Will miss you but things have to be done. Good luck with the kitchen reno.
Good luck with the kitchen, and try to have fun with the week off too.
Great card (nothing new for you, though; they’re always great)! Hang in there with the renovation — it’s tough but worth it. It’s kinda nice not to have to cook, but then again, for weeks on end you’re probably looking forward to getting back to cooking again. I know I would be!
Enjoy your week.
This is soooo cute! That flower is darling! Love the layout too.
I saw this layout in the mag, love what you have done with it, like your flower!
This card is adorable, Julia! Scrappy is just fine when that’s what you’re in the mood for. It’s just so darn cute and cheerful. Love the eyelet dotting the i. Good luck with your renovations!
I’m sure your readers will miss you, but you take all the time you need. I can’t imagine 6 weeks without a kitchen, and I only have two kids to feed! Hope all goes well this week for you. Maybe you could do what the tV networks do and post “previously enjoyed items”. I know that you’ve posted many marvellous creations and I wouldn’t mind seeing any one of them again. There’s always something new to learn each time I look at a design.
Best wishes!
So glad you shared this with us! I LOVE IT!!
I just love polka dot paper and this card is so nice… The colors are beautiful… I also like your Easter one before… The tag is so sweet!!

First, of all I love this card- the layout, the soft blue colors, the stitching, the bling, and that wonderful flower! This will definitely be a favorite! Keeping a good thought for you on your week “off!”
This is so cute! Love the dots and the curved stitching! Good for you for taking some time off — best of luck with the renovation work this week!
