Tag…a challenge

It’s Thursday again and time for another Ways to Use it Challenge! This week we are revisiting an old challenge from three years ago. Gasp! I can hardly believe it has been that long! This week I challenge you to use tags in your project. Whether you design a tag, make a tag book, used metal edged or paper tags on your design…any tag, any size, any concept…just have fun with it! I love tags and find I rarely make them. For that matter, rarely use them in my projects either. How about you? So I hope today you’ll consider yourself tagged and have some fun with this challenge. Here’s the link! WT158 🙂

BTW…I’ve been blog tagged by quite a few lovely bloggers over the past few weeks. Thanks so much! I will seriously try and find some time to keep it going. I’ve just been so swamped with the reno etc. I haven’t had the time. 🙂

Bunny Tag

I decided to design a little bunny tag for today’s project. I just love this sweet little bunny image, Bunny Presents from the new Tom Allen stamp line by Cornish Heritage Farms. If you noticed yesterday’s post, you’ll know how much fun I’ve been having coloring them. I love this particular image of the bunny wrapping the carrot…you can use it for Easter (I’m attaching it to a chocolate gift) or just use it for a present any time of year. I also love jks-bunny-tag-close-copy.jpgthe matching sentiment. I didn’t use it because I didn’t have room on the tag but it is… Every good and perfect gift is from above. James 1:17

I stamped my image and then cut it down to size before coloring in with my Copic markers. With a tag…there is not much room for a layout so I simply matted the image before adhering to my patterned paper on the tag. A little stitching, edge sponging and some fun embellishments take it up a notch. Mini safety pin is from Creative Impressions, Prima flower and May Arts ribbon from Jacksonbelle Embellishments.

Quick Tip: To add lace to the bottom of your project, simply zig zag stitch it on. Also…Don’t be afraid to cut larger images down to their focal point if you want to create a smaller project.

Wishing you a very happy Easter!
