Home and Heart

Published by Julia Stainton at 10:14 am under published designs

Late Friday afternoon I was so excited to receive a few boxes of magazines and designs back from CK Media. Among those was the latest Home and Heart publication. Originally called Homegrown Hospitality for its premiere issue, the name has been changed to Home and Heart. This magazine is their second issue and is published quarterly. I had to tell you…this magazine has its own unique beautiful style. Home and Heart is a perfect title for it. Gorgeous photo spreads, recipes, ideas, tips and hand crafted designs have had me going through the magazine all weekend. While this publication has supply lists published at the back of the magazine, this publication is much more about inspiration than another how-to crafting magazine. I’m LOVING the fresh approach! Home is definitely where the heart is.

Class Reunion Invitation

I was so excited to be contacted by an editor for Home & Heart and asked to design this Classy Class Reunion ensemble for them. The ensemble consists of an accordion photo decoration, place marker and guest favor and invitation…all designed around the theme “Now I had the time of my life”. I’ve always loved that song. :)

If you’d like to check out this magazine…you can find them on sale March 18th, on-line at Home and Heart as well as you local craft or bookstores.

Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!

Wow! How exciting! I’ll look for this magazine. The projects you’ve posted here are lovely and very inspiring. How wonderful that they contacted you to do an ensemble. Your name certainly springs to my mind when I think of lovely items crafted for the home and it’s nice to know more influential minds also think of you :-)

Well that was fast. I don’t craft, but I do buy first issues and just purchased homegrown hospitality today–and it’s already changed its title! I think it must have been a left-over, left-behind because it says display until 10/9/07.
