Addicted to Silhouettes…

Published by Julia Stainton at 6:18 am under Card Designs, Cornish Heritage Farms

I just love these silhouette flower stamps. I’m sure you know that by now…I just can’t seem to stop using them! :) I’ve also been having so much fun with pink lately! For this design I simply stamped in bright pink and then overlaid it with solid black flowers. With the scrappy style bling, I think this would be fun to send to a friend.

On another note…I’m STILL searching for that charger!!! How can this be? Can you feel my pain?! ;) One bright spot this morning…I woke up to the latest Paper Crafts Connection newsletter. It has a link to some sneak peeks for the new PC 101 special publication. If you click on the Thanksgiving Wall Hanging project, it’s one of mine. :) Another thing getting me through today…we’re going out for dinner with friends tonight and NO kids. I hope I don’t sound like a terrible mother but with this renovation…I totally need a night out. :)

Hello With Style

As you know, I love stamping on patterned paper. I used my Silhouette Blooms 1 stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms, some fun embellishments and great die cut patterned paper from Creative Imaginations.

Wohoo for Friday! Have a great weekend!

Lovely Julia. Sometimes when I cannot find things I always ask myself, “If I were me where would I put it.” Then I found it right away. Sounds silly but it works!! LOL Maybe you could also ask the Lord….That works too!!

You are *so* not a bad mother! Enjoy your night out. I always find it easier to think fond thoughts of the children when I am out enjoying myself ;-)
What a lovely, lovely card. All the layers and details really send this one into the Card VIP Lounge.
And I feel for you on the lost charger! I have outsmarted myself several times when I have put things in a safe place. My husband has now forbidden me to hide anything before we go on holidays because I can never remember my great hiding spots. It’s gonna be safety deposit box from now on…. You’ll find it eventually, no doubt shortly after you break down and buy a replacement! Keep looking and it will turn up - that’s what I tell my daughter and it’s usually true. Good luck!
