Whoot, Whoot

Published by Julia Stainton at 10:42 am under Card Designs, Cornish Heritage Farms

ACCCKKKKKKKKKKK! I STILL cannot find my camera battery recharger. I know it is here…somewhere VERY safe but exactly where is not quite known! I’ve been busy tearing up the house but what I really need to be doing is getting some work done. I even called the camera store yesterday asking about purchasing a replacement. I just about dropped! For one little replacement charger…not even Cannon but a knock-off to boot!…$70.00. Ummmm….no thank you…I’ll keep looking! Sigh…….

Whoot, Whoot

This is one card design I created over the weekend and managed to take a photo of before the battery died. I thought I’d have a little funky fun with a black, pink and orange color combo. The top half of the design is stamped with that bold swirl from Kim Hughes’ Bold Curls set by Cornish Heritage Farms. The darling little owl is from the U R A Hoot set and is colored in with Copic Markers.

Very cute, Julia! Those owls are getting hard to resist! I hope you find your battery…wow, I agree….$70 is a bit steep!

Julia! Great card — sorry about the charger — you might try ebay — I have had wonderful luck finding batteries and chargers for all sorts of things at low cost there.

Good luck finding that darn battery charger. Hmmm, let’s think… where did I have it last. Sigh, if it were only that easy!

Losing something that is in the house has to be one of the must frustrating things…usually it’s right in front of me, when I do find it…which is EVEN MORE frustrating. Good luck with your search!

Cute card Julia. Good luck finding that replacement battery. $70 is a bit way too much for me too.

Oh Julia, I’m so sorry you can’t find your charger! How frustrating! That card is so, so cute though! I love the pink & orange together (another of my favorite pink combos!)

Love the owl card you came up with and the funky paper. Adorable!
I made an owl out of scallop punches in January. Check him out…he’s pink!
