I’m having a hoot here with the latest Kim Hughes release from Cornish Heritage Farms! I just can’t resist Kim’s birds and one of the sets released yesterday has owls with lots of attitude! I Give a Hoot

I just love all the fun sentiments that go along with this U R A Hoot stamp set. Wise Guy. Owl be Missing You. Who Loves You? and many more. I decided to make this fun owl design using the I Give a Hoot sentiment. What a fun way to let someone know you are thinking of them. This design was inspired by Di Hickman’s March sketch #1 and some Prima paper I’ve had for a while but somehow it was put at the bottom of the pile and I forgot about it. Gasp! How could I forget about my Steel Toe Mary Janes Kit? I love it! My owl image was colored in with Copic Markers and then cut out and added to the design. A little touch of Ranger Glossy Accents on the eyes adds a little shine and dimension. Simple and fun!
