Blessings…a quick card
I just love this quote…Every day is a blessing, Every hour is a dream, Every minute is a possibility. I think it is so true. We often forget how precious time is. I wanted to create this quick card to try out my new Making Memories’ journaling books. So fun and perfect for card making…the papers are actually designed to be pulled out, journaled on and worked into a scrapbook layout. I love how flexible they are and especially…the darling little cut-outs. Isn’t that die-cut flower beautiful?
Blessings
Stamping right onto the journaling page makes this card super easy. I used one of my favorite stamp sets… Time to Stamp (the Rummage Bin line) by Cornish Heritage Farms. To highlight the fun edge you get when you tear out the pages, I sponged it with Tattered Rose Distress ink. These distress inks are fast becoming my favorites. You can use them for regular stamping and watercoloring as well as distressing and sponging edges. A few quick easy embellishments finish off this scrappy style design. You may be noticing quite a bit of that darling brown dotted ribbon in my designs lately. I’m totally addicted to it right now it seems. I found it and lots of other fun goodies at Creative Impressions.
Remember that {C’est Bon} entry I promised you? I’ll be back later this morning with it.
Until then…have a wonderful day!
