Getting Messy….

Published by Julia Stainton at 7:22 am under Card Designs, Cornish Heritage Farms

Well…I’m feeling really out on a limb with this design. It was so much fun to create but I really stepped out of my box…OK OK I’m mixing my metaphors! You get the drift. You’re either going to like this card or hate it. LOL It’s taken me almost a week to get up the guts to post it. But I am…part of the thought behind my word for this year {embrace} was to try out new things. It’s fun!

Messy Hello

jks-messy-hello.jpg

A really shabby funky painted look here that I’ve seen in some scrapbooking layouts. It seemed to go well with the new Ledger Me stamp set from the Rummage Bin line by Cornish Heritage farms. I LOVE the coffee ring and splatter stamps.

Have a fabulous day and stop back in tomorrow for the Ways to Use it Challenge. It’s an easy one for all to play. :)

This is an interesting card. The coffee stains give it a great look as if done deliberately. If this is out of your box, wow. Get out of your box more.
Thanks for all your great ideas. I am an avid fan and sneak a peek at work a few times a day for inspiration and ideas.

This turned out really neat, like the painted bg, looks like it just came from your table!

Neat card. I have a piece or two of copy paper that would go with that. My printer is placed near where I park my coffee cup-I set it down a little too hard this morning resulting in my messy paper! TFS

Now why would you worry about posting such a gorgeous card? This card fits right into the trend that we’re seeing now. I love it, esp. the coffee stain!

I LOVE, and I do mean LOVE this card. It is so great!! You totally rocked this one! Why were you so anxious to post it? I love the punch of blue, and how the centre of the flower co-ordinates with the “hello”
I keep seeing these AWESOME cards done with this set, I think I might just have to head over to CHF now and buy it! Thanks for the enabling. :)
