Something Sweet….
I’m so excited to be working with this absolutely sweet new stamp set! Gina has asked me again to be part of her latest Stamps for a Cause release. Not only loving this super sweet set, I’m also really happy to be part of this latest cause…Diabetes. During my last pregnancy I had gestational diabetes and had to have insulin injections twice a day for 10 weeks. I know how difficult this can be and cannot imagine it for a child. From each set sold…$7 will be divided equally and donated to the American Diabetes Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. If you’d like to support this cause and have a little stamping fun with this set…you can check it out at Stamps for a Cause.
Sweet Little Baby
SO…………… what can be sweeter than a new baby?! Not much I tell you!
I adore babies…having had five…that’s a very good thing!
I couldn’t wait to ink up this darling little stork image from How Sweet it Is…isn’t it sweet? To create this design I paired it up with some Copic maker coloring, the latest CPS46 sketch design and a sweet color combo of pink and orange. I always love this paired up together and this cute patterned paper worked perfectly. I’m thinking that it is by Scenic Paper Route Company but my brain is tired today so…I’m just hoping I’m correct!
To work with the curve on the design layout…I decided to go with a short-cut and tear the paper. Just couldn’t find a big enough circle template at the moment and actually…I think the torn edge with some freestyle stitching works perfectly on this design. A couple Prima flowers and buttons and safety pin embellish the design but don’t overpower the sweet simple image.
I’ll be sharing more designs from this set over the upcoming weeks so stay tuned. Wishing you a super sweet day!
